Part 1: Building the Foundation for Clinically Supportive Documentation

This module will provide an introduction to the fundamental best practices of coding and documentation. 

This webinar will discuss the initial patient visit and:

  • How to document and record the patient’s chief complaints and initial diagnosis.
  • How to determine the best form of treatment going forward.
  • How to document radiology findings if needed.

Learning objectives:

After completing module 1, the participant will be able to:

  • Record the patients’ chief complaints, history, and examination findings.
  • Identify a diagnosis for the patient’s condition and determine the appropriate form of treatment.
  • Document radiology findings.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Gregg Friedman is a 2nd generation chiropractor and has been practicing in Arizona since 1987.  He's been teaching documentation and coding for more than 20 years at the post-graduate level.  Gregg also consults with doctors, insurance companies, attorneys.
