Acupuncture 100 Level - Full 100 Hour Course Traditional Theory & Practical Procedures 2024

• 3 Hours: Back Shu, Front Mu (Alarm) points, Laws of Excess and Deficiency, Pulse Diagnosis, Imbalances in nature and the change of seasons and the influences that they have on the human body.  Practical demonstration of commonly used acupuncture points and patterns including Dr. Jon Sunderladge’s patterns I and II.

Clean Needle Technique

• 1 Hour: Clean needle technique (CNT) is demonstrated and practiced; emphasis is placed on safety, hygiene, proper needle sterilization and disposal of bio-hazardous waste.
• 2 Hours: Examinations (practical) on clean needle safety and hygiene.

Meridians I

• 2 Hours: Twelve main meridians location, function and usage are described. 
• 17 Hours: Twelve main meridians are described with emphasis on CV, GV, LU, LI, ST, SP, HT, SI.  Discussion of meridian pathways (superficial and deep), location of their acu-points and clinical applications. Extensive supervised laboratory practicum, which will provide attendees with hands-on time to practice point location and proper needle insertion techniques.

• 10 Hours  Review of the history, patterns and diagnostic criteria including tongue diagnosis, point selection principles and patterns on how to choose acupuncture points for TCM aliment. Extensive review of final and practical needling.  
• 2 Hours  Practical needling
• 3 Hours  Gua Sha, Moxa, and cupping practice and demonstration practicum will be used to instruct attendees in the use of different mediums such as lubricants and tools as well as strokes for common conditions.  
• 2 Hours  Final written examination 
• 2 Hours  Final practical examination (one must serve as a patient for another test taker)
